A Few Minutes in the Morning Meditating on the Feet

Martin here from reset meditation calm just got a few minutes while I'm at the township office here and figured I would shoot a video and some of the meditation I'm getting out a major political packet today for meeting next week And so new is gonna be decently busy day a lot of stuff to work on resolve decisions to make things to think through things to write and So wanted a few minutes of meditation this morning, and then I'll hit a few minutes at least tonight

And what I did this morning was just worked on the feet. And so I did them individually, started with the right foot and then went to the left foot and really just did a few minutes, I did five minutes. And it turns out I just barely made it through the right foot, didn't make it through the left foot. And so I turned off the timer at that point and switched over to left foot and completed that without a timer, which a lot of times I'll meditate without a timer completely. A lot of tension, a lot of tension in my feet.

which it slowly eased up over time. And as we meditate, we don't try to change anything. We don't try to relax or reduce the tension. Just what is there is there, and we're just experiencing the sensations. But that definitely makes a difference over the day as encountering a bunch of problems and trying to resolve things and having the patience and the capacity to handle them, essentially. So useful. Even those few minutes in the morning, few minutes in the evening make a noticeable difference.
